The price-performance ratio is very good. The hotel is not the newest, but still clean and tidy. Renovations are carried out (not during our stay) e.g. bathroom, furniture, carpets. Very recommendable
We did not book the breakfast and did not use it because we found it too expensive.

We thought the decor was very tired, but the bed was verycomfortable & the room had everything necessary. The food was very good, especially the cooked breakfast, however tinned & dried fruit is not fresh fruit!! The service was excellent.

Our stay at the King Malcolm Hotel was very comfy the rooms are to a high standard.
We had no great complaints other than the televison had no signal and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work.

Near to the town
The rooms were a bit tired and in need of an update. We were also kept up most of the night due to continuous banging doors (no soft release) as we were on the ground floor and there was a function on.

Easy access from the m90 Motorway, 30 minute walk into the town. Pleasant greeting from the reception staff. Room was comfortable, ensuite was extremely clean although rather "tired" looking. However, for the money, well worth it.
